A new CCMS version with new features in the History tab and a change in the localization module, and a conref fix.

• Added. The History tab now lets you to switch between Render and XML (new) views of a DITA file. Viewing the XML enables you to see all file details, including XML attributes, which is useful for inspecting file revisions.

  Note:

  The Compare with selected option is supported in the Render view and and not in the XML view, which is the expected behavior.

  

• Added. The History tab now shows the history for text files like .json, .txt, .css, and .js. The recorded history goes back to the file creation date.

• Changed. We updated options available when editing locales in the Cache Mode to hide the image menu which enabled users to modify images. This prevents users from updating images through the locale editor, which is not recommended.

  Remember:

  To localize or update visuals like screenshots or diagrams, use the source package for both text and media content, or the, or the media package. The media package is useful when working with with XLIFF and XTM, which are text-only localization packages.

• Fixed. We resolved an issue where attempting to insert a content reference (conref) into a table cell caused the page to become unresponsive. Now, adding a conref to a table causes no issues.

• Ongoing development of the next-generation Linking and Releases modules.
