Heretto CCMS 24.08.24

In version 24.08.24, there are no end-user updates to report. Our focus was on creating new features and improving the performance of the system. While these enhancements may not be immediately noticeable, they contribute to an improved user experience.

Heretto CCMS 24.08.23

• Enhanced. Various backend enhancements made to provide a more stable user experience.

• Fixed. Footnote (fn) elements can now be assigned IDs, enhancing their reusability across topics. In earlier versions, assigning an ID to a footnote resulted in its removal within the Topic Editor.

• Fixed. Following up on a previous enhancement, we removed the no longer needed File Reference option from the DITA-OT Cloud publishing scenario to resolve an error that occurred when it was selected.

• Enhanced. Backend enhancement made to the assignment creation process for improved performance.

• Enhanced. Backend enhancement made to Branching and Merging actions to create a more stable user experience.

Heretto CCMS 24.08.12

• Fixed. We addressed an issue that prevented the ability to create localization jobs. ,

• Fixed. Draft comments are now included in XLIFF localization packages only if marked with translate="yes" (for example, <draft-comment translate="yes">).

• Fixed. PDF Generator will again render a keyref specified in a <navtitle> element.

• Fixed. Restricted Prolog removal to users with write permissions on a topic.

• Fixed. Learning Content topics now enable users to enter Time Details in the Learning Time element through the Topic Editor in the Heretto CCMS.

• Enhanced. In DITA-OT Cloud publishing scenarios, the Compare to selection now shows a loading indicator when populating the listing of Releases or Branches for selection. Previously there was no loading indicator, which seemed to indicate that Branches or Releases were missing.

Heretto Portal 24.08.08

• Fixed. When rendering the TOC for API Docs, Heretto Portal now falls back to the API method path specified in the JSON file if the summary parameter is not specified.

• Fixed. The ON THIS PAGE section located to the right side of a content page now accurately reflects where the user is within the content on that page. Previously, the section highlighted on the right didn't always correlate to the section the user was actually at on the page.

• Fixed. Heretto Portal now retains custom search facets that were selected during an original search, ensuring that the user does not have to re-select them.

• Added. The Portal now supports the Dutch language (culture code: nl). 🎉

Heretto CCMS 24.08.06

• Enhanced. Added a configuration option to refine SSO user access control. When enabled, users no longer see the User Name and Password login options on the home screen, and must use single sign-on to log in to Heretto CCMS. Contact your Customer Success Manager if you want to enable this configuration option.

• Enhanced. PDF Generator now supports the status attribute on elements for use as needed (for example: styling a particular status value in a different way to highlight a change or update).

• Fixed. PDF Generator no longer duplicates cross-reference (xref) text when more than one topic within the publication map includes the same xref.

• Enhanced. We have improved the Heretto CCMS performance to provide a more stable experience when interacting with a single folder that contains 10,000 objects or more. However, for an even better experience, we recommend maintaining folders with far less than 10,000 objects.

• Enhanced. Added a configuration option that expands the application of the translate="no" attribute on cross-references (xref). When enabled, files linked to by an xref to which the translate="no" attribute is applied are excluded from localization packages. Contact your Customer Success Manager if you want to enable this configuration option.

• Fixed. Branching an image using Replace now changes the localization status for the image to Out of Date so the image is included in the next localization job. Previously, only a Branch and Merge operation changed the localization status to Out of Date.
