Topic Elements
The Content Editor enables you to view topic elements in different tag modes. Tags help understand in which DITA elements your content is nested. This feature can help authors organize their content according to their DITA standards.
Tip:
In the Content Editor, you can switch between different tag modes by clicking the gear on the toolbar and using the Tags drop-down menu.
| Option | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Full Tags With Attributes | Displays the entire DITA element syntax, including any attributes. | |
| Full Tags | Displays only the DITA element name. | |
| Short Tags | Displays a gray tag indicator wherever a DITA element occurs. | |
| No Tags | Turns off all tags in the Content Editor. |
