Content Editor Overview

The Content Editor enables users to simultaneously collaborate on DITA topics and maps. This is where authors create concepts and maps on Heretto CCMS. This editor lets authors work on content without understanding DITA tags and constraints. The Content Editor is available to all users in CCMS, with different modes depending on the user's role. At Heretto, we use the Content Editor to create our documentation.

Source Editor Overview

The Source Editor is a tool used to view DITA topics and maps in their source language. The Source Editor enables advanced DITA authors to edit with more precision. To help you navigate the code, the Source Editor colors syntax and your cursor position with a gray line in the scroll bar. While some content may have a preview, knowledge of the code is recommended.

Content Library Overview

The Content Library houses all your content in Heretto CCMS. Use the Content Library to browse, filter, create, upload, and manage your folders and files.
