- Click Open Library to access files in your Content Library.
- In the Content Library, navigate to the component(s) that you want to add to the map.
- If you want to add multiple components, select a range of topics while holding the Shift key.
- Add the component(s) into the map tree by doing one of the following:
Drag and drop the component(s) into the map tree.
From the map context menu, choose between Append Element, Insert Element After or Insert Element Before and click From Existing File.....
- If prompted, from the Insert drop-down menu, select a relevant element and click Insert.Note:
By default, the intelligent drag-and-drop selects the most optimal map element for you. For example, concept topics are added to maps with the topicref element. To select a map element manually, hold the Shift key while dragging and dropping a resource into the map tree.
This behavior is configurable. To disable the intelligent drag-and-drop, contact your Customer Success Manager.
