Outputclass Attributes for PDF Generator
Heretto PDF Generator Gray and Color templates use predefined outputclass attributes for styling. Setting a predefined outputclass attribute on an element modifies the styling of that element in the output without the need of modifying the CCS in a publishing scenario.
All predefined outputclass attributes are documented in the module they apply to. For example, Layout and DITA modules.
Add Attribute Values to Maps and Map Elements
You can add attribute values to root map elements and elements inside a map in the Content Editor. Attributes added to a parent element carry over to its children. In this procedure, we focus on adding outputclass attribute values to map elements for PDF Generator output styling. However, you can follow it to add values to any attributes in a map.
The outputclass attribute value is added to the map. The properties of the value added to a parent element carry over to its children. When publishing with a publishing scenario that uses the value, the properties of the value are applied to output.
Add Attribute Values to Topics and Topic Elements
The outputclass attribute value is added to the topic. When publishing with a publishing scenario that uses the value, the properties of the value are applied to output.
