Content Editor

  • Does your topic contain conkeyrefs? You can open the Insert Conkeyref dialog box using the keyboard shortcut published in our UI. The dialog box will immediately open, and you can type an ID to search for a Conkeyref.

  • When you want insert a key reference with a keyscope the dropdown will automatically populate. Need to edit that link in the topic editor? Go right ahead! You no longer need to go into the XML to change the link.

  • ¡Buenos días! Need to include an ampersand or other common HTML symbols in a topic title? Using markup symbols in your title can come in handy, and they will correctly show in the Map Editor.

Content Library

  • File names are properly sorted alphabetically in the Content Library. When you access a directory, all of your files in that directory are sorted by file name.

  • You've just authored a topic that contains angle brackets in the title. Feel free to add HTML markups to the title of your topic and they will correctly show in the Content Library.

Localization

  • Once you’ve localized content and downloaded the localized version of that content, you can upload the localized version of your map to a separate branch and voilà! Your team of reviewers can continue to work on the files.

Publishing

  • In today's business world you may need to reach global audiences with authored output in multiple languages. Your submaps that specify the xml:lang attribute will publish their respective localization in Cloud DITA OT.

  • Want to publish a topic containing a MathML equation with different types of challenging mathematical statements? No matter what the degree, variable or constant, complex ​MathML equations in the topic editor will correctly render in your PDF Generator output.

  • When you've created a map with a topic that has a draft-comment in the title, you can publish using any PDF Generator scenario. Your draft-comment will remain sight unseen in the output!
