DITA Attribute Report

The DITA Attribute Report enables you to examine all attributes and their values present in a map and its dependencies. For example, ID attribute, href attribute, conkeyref attribute, key reference, conditional processing attributes (audience, product, platform, otherprops, deliveryTarget), lang attribute, and more. The report is provided in a CSV file.

Tip:

This report helps you find, for example:

Duplicate IDs in a map, which can cause unexpected linking behavior
Elements with the translate attribute set to yes or no, which specifies whether content is included in a localization package
Element with the toc attribute set to yes or no, which specifies whether content is included in a table of contents (ToC)

Folder Keys Report

You can use this report to view all key values assigned in maps, analyze your key naming conventions, and ensure that existing key names align with your key value creation guidelines.

Folder Structure Report

You can use this report to evaluate your folder structure or use it as a reference to create a new folder structure.

This report generates a CSV spreadsheet that shows the structure for your selected folder, including all folders and files it contains. The results are emailed to the email that you use to log on to Heretto CCMS.

Invalid Keyrefs and Conkeyrefs Report

You can use this report to search a map and its dependencies to find key references (keyrefs) and content key references (conkeyrefs) that are unresolved in the map.

Tip: Unresolved keyrefs and conkeyrefs cause the referenced content to be missing and as a result they cause publishing issues.

Linked Topics out of Map Scope Report

You can use this report to search a map for links to topics that are not directly included in the map.

Tip: In some outputs (for example, any PDF output), when you link to a topic that is not included in the map, the link will not lead anywhere. This report helps you find these topics so you can remove the link to them or add the linked topic to the map.

Map Status Report

You can use this report to investigate the details about a map and its dependencies.

Note:

USLR stands for “Updated Since Last Release”.

Not Used Web Report

Learn how to identify unused files within a folder by using the Not Used Web Report. This report excludes binary files, such as images, and focuses on non-binary files like DITA maps and topics. It does not account for key references and key definitions.

Tip: You can use this report to make content management decisions, such as determining if not used resources can be deleted, added to maps, or marked obsolete.

Files listed in the Filename column are links that you can click to navigate to that file in the Content Library.

Topic Reuse Web Report

You can run this report on more than one map to find reused topics and move them to a common, high-level folder to optimize your reuse opportunities.

Tip: You can leave the Reuse Folder Name field blank to view all reused topics in the selected maps.

Unapproved from Approved Topics Report

You can use this report to find files that are set to the Approved status and are referencing files that do not have the Approved status.

Tip: This report helps you find and prevent unapproved topics from being published.
