Preflight Check
Heretto CCMS checks your files for common validation issues before publishing. It detects issues that would prevent successful publishing or cause issues in output.
Whenever you publish a resource in the CCMS, when the Publish window opens, preflight check automatically starts validating your content. You can see its progress bar and results in the footer of the Publish window.
When issues are detected, preflight check shows a warning that the resource has issues that need to be resolved before publishing. Click the warning to open a window with details for each issue.
By default, preflight check runs automatically whenever you open the Publish window. This means that if you want to validate your document with preflight check, simply click Publish and wait for preflight check results.
Preflight check can also be configured to be triggered manually. In that configuration, preflight check doesn't start until you click a button in the Publish window. However, we strongly recommend the default configuration. If unresolved, some issues preflight check detects might cause issues in output, like missing content.
