Localization Report (Insights)
This feature is currently in Beta and available to a limited group of customers. General availability for all Heretto customers will follow the conclusion of the Beta phase. Full rollout dates will be shared when available.
During the Beta phase, only users assigned the Administrator role can access and use Insights reports. Following full rollout, all users with authoring permissions (Author, Editor/Manager, and Administrator) will be able to use Insights.
The Localization Report gives your team a single place to check localization progress across your content, instead of piecing that picture together from individual files or jobs.
The Localization Report is a reporting capability that provides a localization overview for a scope of content in Heretto CCMS, such as which files have been localized, into which locales, and which localization jobs are in progress or complete. It gives your team a structured way to monitor localization health and identify where locales or content are falling behind.
The Localization Report is most valuable in these areas:
- Progress visibility
See at a glance how many files are localized, how many locales are in use, and how many jobs are still in progress, without opening individual jobs.
- Locale health and readiness monitoring
Compare localization status, Current, Missing, or Outdated, across locales to identify which locales need attention.
- Effort tracking
Word-count metrics show the volume of content localized and its status, helping you gauge the scale of localization work completed and remaining.
Localization Report Operation and Guidelines
Before you start working with the Localization Report, familiarize yourself with these facts and guidelines.
- Access
Available only to users assigned the Administrator role during the Beta phase.
Broader access for users with authoring permissions is planned for general availability, though a rollout date hasn't been confirmed.
- Filtering
Filters support locale, localization status, file status, and metadata.
Filters apply automatically as they're changed; there's no separate step to apply them.
Filter selections, sort order, and visible columns persist locally across sessions.
- Data freshness
Report data may not reflect changes made immediately before you open the report. Navigating to the report triggers a refresh of the underlying data.
- Known limitations
The report's content and available metrics are currently fixed; there's no option to add custom charts or views, unlike the Content Report.
Access is Administrator-only for the duration of the Beta phase.
