Send a link to a file in your Content Library. This link opens Heretto CCMS and highlights the file in the file listing.

Star important folders and files so you can easily access them later in your Starred folder.

1. In the Content Library, click the star next to files you want to track.
2. In the Browse tab, click Starred to open your Starred folder.

Use the Create a new folder to create a new folder for organizing your files.

1. In the Content Library, click the Create a new folder.

   

2. Add a meaningful folder name.
   Note:

   The valid characters for file and folder names are:

   • lowercase letters (a-z)

   • uppercase letters (A-Z)

   • numbers (0-9)

   • underscore (_), hyphen (-), and period (.)

   This applies to creating files and folders and renaming files and folders.

3. Click Create.

Change the name of an existing file or folder.

1. In the Content Library, right-click the desired resource(s) and select Rename.

   You can select a number of files and folders and rename them in one operation. You can select a range of resources while pressing the Shift key.

2. Enter a new name for each file.
   Note:

   The valid characters for file and folder names are:

   • lowercase letters (a-z)

   • uppercase letters (A-Z)

   • numbers (0-9)

   • underscore (_), hyphen (-), and period (.)

   This applies to creating files and folders and renaming files and folders.

   Optionally, you can add a comment for the rename operation.

3. Click Rename.

Move files and folders to a new location in the Content Library.

1. In the Content Library, right-click the desired resources and select Move.

   You can select a number of files and folders and move them in one operation. You can select a range of resources while pressing the Shift key.

2. Click Select Location.
3. Navigate to and select a folder location.
4. Click Select.
5. Click Move.

You can quickly select multiple files in the Content Library by selecting a range of files.

1. In the Content Library, navigate to the directory where you want to select a range of files.
2. Select the first file in the range of files that you want to select.

   

3. Hold Shift and click the last file in the range of files that you want to select.

   

1. In the Content Library, navigate to the folder where you want to upload your files and click Upload a new file.

   

2. In the Select files to upload window, click to choose files or drag and drop files to upload.

   

3. If in the Files to be uploaded section you see any files that shouldn't be uploaded, remove them by clicking the corresponding remove button.
4. If you selected any files that already exist in the Content Library folder and you don't want to overwrite them, clear the corresponding Overwrite files with the same names check box.
5. If you selected any ZIP files that you do not want to be automatically unzipped, clear the corresponding Unzip check box.
6. Click Upload Files.

1. In the Content Library, click Settings in the top-right corner.

2. In the Custom columns dialog, do any of the following:
   • To hide a column in the Content Library, clear the corresponding check box.
   • To show a column in the Content Library, select the corresponding check box.
   • To rearrange columns in the Content Library, drag-and-drop a column name to a new position.
3. Click Save.
4. If needed, refresh the CCMS in your browser.

1. Open Google Chrome™ or Mozilla Firefox.
2. Install the Dark Reader browser extension:

   Option	Description
   If you use Google Chrome™,	do the following: Go to: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dark-reader/eimadpbcbfnmbkopoojfekhnkhdbieeh?hl=en. Click Add to Chrome. In the prompt, click Add extension.
   If you use Mozilla Firefox,	do the following: Go to: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/darkreader/. Click Add to Firefox. In the top-left corner, click Add. In the top-right-corner, click OK.

   The Dark Reader browser extension Help tab opens in your web browser. By default, the extension enables dark mode on every website that you visit.
3. Pin the extension to your toolbar.
4. Optional: Enable dark mode only for Heretto CCMS:
   1. In the right-top corner of the browser, click .
   2. In the Dark Reader pop-up, in the Site list tab, click Invert listed only.
   3. Under Inverted list only, in the field, enter <your_organization>.heretto.com
      Where <your_organization> is the name of your organization in Heretto CCMS.
   Dark mode is enabled only for Heretto CCMS.
5. Optional: Adjust the Dark Reader browser extension settings for Heretto CCMS:
   1. In your web browser, go to <your_organization>.heretto.com
   2. In the right-top corner of the browser, click .
   3. In the Dark Reader pop-up, click Only for <your_organization>.heretto.com
      Where <your_organization> is the name of your organization in Heretto CCMS.
   4. Adjust the Brightness, Contrast, Sepia, and Grayscale sliders.

Each resource in Heretto CCMS has its own Universally Unique Identifier (UUID). UUIDs are essential when working with Heretto CCMS API and are also useful in other scenarios, such as referencing resources like graphics or custom fonts in PDF Generator publishing configurations.

1. In the Content Library, click a resource.
   The Resource Drawer opens on the right.
2. At the bottom of the Resource Drawer, click API Info and copy the contents of the UUID field.
