Assignments

Those of you who use Assignments a lot are sure to be very happy to learn that thanks to continuous scrolling, it is now super easy to get to your older assignments ๐Ÿ˜Ž.

Enhanced

  • We added continuous scrolling to the Assignments interface. Now you can get to all of your assignments by simply scrolling through them! Scroll away! ๐Ÿš€

Branching

This enhancement comes in very handy when you rework your content architecture and, for example, some of your concept topics become reference topics or custom, specialized topics. As a result, the Document Type Declaration, or DOCTYPE, changes in those topics. In the past, if you then branched the modified files by using the Replace mechanism, you ran into some validation issues on the target branch. Not any longer.

Enhanced

  • When you change the DOCTYPE declaration in a file and then branch-replace that file into a different branch, the DOCTYPE is replaced as well and you experience no validation issues whatsoever. This is now true for both branching operations: merging and replacing. Neat, huh? And now, octopus ๐Ÿ™.
Note: Heretto CCMS prevents you from modifying DOCTYPE declarations to avoid validation issues. You can, however, modify DOCTYPE outside of Heretto, for example, after downloading the file or through our oXygen Integration.

Content Library

We corrected some small but significant misbehaviors in our Resource Details Drawer. It is now a very well-behaved drawer! ๐Ÿ—„๏ธ

Fixed

  • The View option in the resource context menu shows the full Resource Details Drawer.
Figure 2. Selecting an option from the View menu slides the Resource Details Drawer all the way to the left
  • When you go to the Links tab of a file, you can click the listed files to see their details. When you did that for a submap linked in a map, the Overview tab didn't show much detail. We fixed that. The Overview tab now correctly shows the details of a linked map!

Publishing

Those of you who are PDF Generator pros who can create advanced publishing scenarios involving parameters with (or without) values will appreciate this one! ๐Ÿค“

Enhanced

  • PDF Generator publishing scenarios that contain parameters without values now successfully publish in the Scenario Configuration interface. For those of you who are not sure what this is about, maybe an example of a parameter without a value will help here? ๐Ÿ™Œ <parameter name="XSLT:css" display-name="CSS file" type="file_picker" user-settable="false" max-selected="1"/>
